Accuracy in Profiling and Reimbursement - A-PAR
A-PAR is a customized training program for the hospital that wishes to improve the accuracy and integrity of its clinical documentation and coding. The end result of A-PAR is a team-oriented approach to identifying opportunities and establishing processes to ensure the documentation of medical records accurately profiles the actual level of service performed and reflects the severity of illness of the patient. A-PAR also includes a formal DRG analysis to demonstrate the potential positive financial impact of improving complication and co-morbidity capture rates to national norms, among your paired-DRG's.
